The Consortium for Spinal Cord Medicine
The Consortium for Spinal Cord Medicine develops and disseminates evidence-based clinical practice guidelines to professionals and consumers. It's membership consists of health-care, payer and consumer organizations. In developing its guidelines, clinical leaders in the spinal cord medicine community are brought together and participate with both payer representatives and consumers with spinal cord injury.
Several doctors of our center have participated in the development of some of these practice guidelines.
Each of the member organizations generally provides some information about spinal cord injury as well as other materials on their own web sites, which you might find to be of interest.
